Planning your event? start here!

Please contact us at marcangell@mac.com

if you can't find an answer to your question or to discuss your event.

We have 30+ years of experience as motivational speakers, and have spoken at a variety of events, meetings, fundraisers, and conferences around the world.

We are a team!  We aren't just patient and caregiver, we are husband and wife. You get two speakers sharing a journey together, both with their own unique points of view and stories to share. We don't always agree, and we are known for our dynamic speaking style, humor, and ability to connect with audiences on a personal level. "We don't speak about life, we invite audiences into ours."

We  believe in a positive, solutions-focused approach to motivation. We work with clients to identify their goals and develop actionable steps for achieving them, while also providing inspiration and encouragement along the way.

Not at all. While our story is rooted in living with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer, the themes of resilience, caregiving, hope, communication, and finding joy in difficult circumstances resonate with anyone facing life's unexpected challenges.

We've spoken (or are available to speak) for:

  • Patient conferences
  • Caregiver groups
  • Pharmaceutical and biotech events
  • Hospitals and cancer centers
  • Advocacy organizations
  • Corporate wellness programs
  • Fundraisers and community events
  • Women's Empowerment Groups
  • Corporate Leadership

Topics can include:

  • Receiving a life-changing diagnosis
  • Living with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer
  • The patient and caregiver relationship
  • Finding humor and hope in difficult circumstances
  • Creativity as a tool for resilience
  • Communication and advocacy
  • Navigating uncertainty
  • Why there is no "right way" to navigate cancer
  • Resilience, hope, and humor

Absolutely. Every audience is different. Whether we're speaking to patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, advocacy groups, or corporate teams, we tailor our presentation to fit your event and goals.

We offer flexible presentation lengths ranging from keynote presentations to shorter conference sessions, panel discussions, fireside chats, and Q&A sessions. We'll work with you to create the format that best fits your event.

Yes. While we don't shy away from the realities of cancer, our presentation is filled with humor, heart, and genuine moments of joy. Audiences often tell us they laughed as much as they cried, and left feeling inspired rather than overwhelmed.

Rather than focusing solely on illness, we share the story of navigating life together, as patient and caregiver, with honesty, humor, and hope. Audiences leave inspired, but also with practical insights they can immediately apply to their own lives and relationships.

Yes! We're happy to travel and can also participate in virtual events.

Simply reach out through our contact form. We'll schedule a conversation to learn about your event and discuss how we can create a meaningful experience for your audience.
